Although Winston showed flashes last season with the Cleveland Browns, he doesnāt seem like the solution that would lead the Steelers to contend for the Super Bowl. The problem is that there arenāt many options left on the market.

Currently, the quarterbacks on the Steelersā roster are Mason Rudolph and Skylar Thompson. According to several reports, Mike Tomlin and Omar Khan have put all their chips on Aaron Rodgers as QB1.
The interesting thing will be to see what happens if Rodgers signs with the Giants or the Vikings, leaving only Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston as possibilities. Wilson seems unlikely, as there have been no discussions between the veteran and Pittsburgh throughout free agency.
