After struggling to compete and even make the playoffs over the past decade, The Tampa Bay Buccaneers made a bold move in free-agencyby offering a 2-year, fully-guaranteed contract to 42-year-old Tom Brady.
Brady is unanimously considered one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history. Nonetheless, he’s still 42, and the fact that he spent his entire career playing for one coach and his system made this a risky move.
And, while the Buccaneers have a winning record and look poised to put an end to their playoff drought, it seems like head coach Bruce Arians is far from satisfied with what he’s getting from his starting quarterback.

ESPN: There Is ‘Real Tension’ Between Tom Brady And Bruce Arians
Arians has repeatedly called Brady out in public and has blamed himfor almost every one of their losses this season. And, according to ESPN’s Dan Graziano, their relationship has reached a tough spot and there’s some real tension between the two:
“There’s a lot of theories, obviously it was supposed to work better than this, but one of them is that there is real tension. Bruce Arians and Tom Brady just met, right, it’s almost like Arians was watching some sort of movie star action-hero, and then met him in person and said, ‘I thought you’d be bigger‘,” Graziano said.
Bruce Arians threw Brady under the bus after his terrible performance vs. the Los Angeles Rams, claiming that his team will only be as good as his quarterback’s play. Obviously, that may have rubbed Tom the wrong way.
The Buccaneers need to be focus solely on football right now and these reports aren’t going to help their cause. It’s not like Arians can’t hold Brady accountable for his mistakes, but maybe voicing those kinds of things out in the open isn’t the best way to handle their situation.
