There’s absolutely no doubt that Patrick Mahomes is the new face of the NFL. Ever since he took over as the Kansas City Chiefs’ starting quarterback, he’s dominated the league almost at will.

And now that he’s entering this season as the reigning Super Bowl champion and Super Bowl MVP, it seems like he’s gotten even better, which seemed impossible to even think of a couple of months ago.

Mahomes is leading the Chiefs’ explosive and balanced offense to a perfect 3-0 record to start the season, including a big statement win over reigning MVP Lamar Jackson and his Baltimore Ravens.

Jackson is also great and likely to dominate the league for over a decade but there’s level to this. Patrick Mahomes is three steps ahead of everyone else right now, as he proved on their Monday Night Football clash.

Patrick Mahomes Breaks Another Record In Win Over The Baltimore Ravens

Patrick Mahomes, the ultimate gunslinger, put together a 385-yard effort in his team’s 34-20 triumph over the Baltimore Ravens, thus becoming the fastest player to ever reach 10,000 yards in the history of the National Football League.

Mahomes only needed 34 games to reach that figure and it’s unlikely that another player will ever take his record down, at least for the time being. As of today, he’s got 10,310 passing yards to go along with 85 touchdowns, 18 interceptions, and a 27-7 record.

Patrick is setting the bar way too high for the rest of the league and continues to prove why he was worthy of the largest contract in NFL history. The guy is just 25 years old and has already a Hall of Famer kind of résumé.
