Taylor Swift hilariously admits she knew almost nothing about football before meeting Travis Kelce

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce continue to trend on social media after the latest episode of the New Heights podcast, which also features Jason, the brother of the Chiefs’ tight end.

Swift is already the most popular fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, but during the interview, the famous singer admitted that before meeting Travis, she practically had no idea what football was. In fact, Taylor thought that two quarterbacks faced each other directly.

“Travis was not judgmental about the fact that I knew nothing about the world he was in. On our first date, I literally asked him what it was like when the Chiefs played the Eagles in the Super Bowl and he looked across the field, across the line of scrimmage, and saw his brother standing on the other side like five feet in front of him on the field. I now know what an insane question it was. I thought it was like Jared Goff is here and Josh Allen’s here, and then they blow a whistle and then they go at each other like: ‘Who’s going to win?’ I’ve got some ideas. I’ve got some thoughts. I didn’t know what a first down was. I didn’t know what the chains were. I didn’t know what a tight end was.”

Does Taylor Swift knows football now?

Yes. Taylor Swift confirmed that thanks to her relationship with Travis Kelce, she now knows much more about football. Even more than the average fan. The music star acknowledged that she talks a lot with her boyfriend about different coverages and that, some day, she could even commentate on an NFL game.

“We’re talking about Cover 2, Cover 4, Cover 0, man coverage. We’re learning. I continue to learn. I’m not ready to be an analyst right now, but just give me 16 months.”
