Many players have opted to declare themselves eligible for the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft. For the TCU Horned Frogs, wide receiver Jack Bech was one of them, and heās expected to be selected by a franchise. His exceptional play has an inspiration behind it, and none other than Bech himself revealed who he tries to emulate every time he steps onto the field.
In recent statements to the press during the ongoing Combine, Bech spoke with the reporters present and revealed his deep admiration for Sean McVayās team, the Los Angeles Rams. He mentioned that he tries to emulate the playing styles of both Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua.
āYou know, I try to take bits and pieces from a lot of peopleās games,ā he said. āFor example, the way Puca Nacua and Cooper Kupp, the way they know the game, the way they run routes and catch the ball.
āGuys like JaāMarr Chase, how they YAC and RAC, how they are with the ball after the catch. There are guys just in terms of the way theyāre able to run routes. And even guys like George Pickens, the way he blocks. He goes out there and just dominates every run block.ā

Puka Nacua #17 and Cooper Kupp #10 of the Los Angeles Rams look on during the second quarter of a game against the Buffalo Bills at SoFi Stadium on December 08, 2024 in Inglewood, California.
Bech is expected to be selected with a strong pick in this draft, as several franchises are not only in need of a wide receiver with his skill set, but also recognize that the player can contribute in other facets of the game.

Which team could draft Bech?
Several teams are looking to make a deep restructuring of their rosters in various areas. Jack Bech stands out as one of the top wide receivers to choose, making his name a likely pick for one of the franchises.
Now, Bech is not only known for his talent and physical prowess on the field, but also for his role as a blocking slot receiver. Interestingly, the new head coach of the Chicago Bears, Ben Johnson, gained recognition for using this skill during his time with the Detroit Lions.
āI think thatās just dawg mentality,ā Bech said. āYou just want to go out there and dominate every aspect of the game, no matter if thatās running routes, catching balls, if thatās run blocking, putting somebody into the sideline, thatās just that dawg mentality that I have.ā
