Following Sunday's scenes, Brazil will return to action when they host Peru on Thursday, September 9, on Matchday 10 of the Conmebol 2022 World Cup Qualifiers. Here, check out how both sides would line up for this game. The match will be broadcast in the US by FuboTV.

La Canarinha were involved in a bizarre episode when the Brazilian health authorities broke into the field with the game against Argentina already underway. While FIFA are yet to come to a decision regarding the points, Tité's side has to focus on its next task.

La Blanquirroja, meanwhile, have recently claimed a much-needed win over Venezuela to extend their unbeaten run to three games and got a bit of fresh air on the road to Qatar 2022.

Brazil possible starting 11

After the shocking turn of events during the Argentina clash, La Verde-amarela have one game left to conclude the September international break. And Tité's lineup wouldn't be much different to that from Sunday's.

Marquinhos, who was suspended from facing La Albiceleste, wouldn't take part in this game either as Brazil don't know exactly if they are allowed to start him yet. This would be their starting eleven: Weverton; Danilo, Eder Militao, L. Verissimo, Alex Sandro; Lucas Paqueta, Gerson, Casemiro, Everton Ribeiro; Gabriel, Neymar.

Peru probable lineup

Peru got a monkey off their back when they beat Venezuela in a hard-fought game last weekend. Now, they can take a look at the standings with more relief, although they still have plenty of work to do.

Coach Ricardo Gareca might put DC United's Edison Flores back into the starting eleven while Luis Advincula could shockingly come out of the lineup. Gareca tried this lineup on practice: Pedro Gallese; Aldo Corzo, Anderson Santamaria, Alexander Callens, Marcos Lopez; Renato Tapia, Yoshimar Yotun, Edison Flores; Christian Cueva, Andre Carrillo, Gianluca Lapadula.
