Four Argentine players are accused of giving false information regarding the Covid-19 protocols and they received a deportation order.
Emiliano Martinez, Emiliano Buendia, Giovanni Lo Celso and Cristian Romero are the alleged infractors. They all play for the Premier League and the Brazilian health protocols require that every person who is travelling from England has to do a 14-day quarantine. However, they spent the last few days in Venezuela and the Conmebol protocols indicate that with a 72-hour quarantine players are allowed to play.
Conmebol said that the players were allowed to play because they are in the teamโs bubble. According to Conmebolโs official Twitter account the game has been suspended.
