The Los Angeles Galaxy on the other hand was officially knocked out of the MLS playoffs after their draw with the Seattle Sounders. The Galaxy has only won 6 games the whole season and as a result, fired their coach Guillermo Barros Schelotto.

Social media was ruthless on the Mexican international, as many fans took his second goal with a grain of salt. Chicharito on the other hand celebrated in LeBron James style, something he has done before since he admires the NBA superstar.
After the game, Chicharito spoke to the media and gave a cryptic message regarding his poor debut season: “This year has been completely negative from all sides...There have been many factors that have contributed to me not being able to show my best form… We have a second chance starting next season, this club has given me everything since I arrived, and I have been the one to not confide in them, they have trusted me.”
