Al Nassr are still ahead in the Saudi Pro League standings as they look to finally lift some silverware with Cristiano Ronaldo at the helm. However, their winning streak ended with a 3-1 loss to Al Qadsiah that could potentially complicate their title quest. Still, the Portuguese ace is trying to keep the good energy after the loss.
After the game, Cristiano Ronaldo posted a carousel on Instagram with one message: “One mission. We keep working. TOGETHER!” The Portuguese superstar couldn’t score and when he doesn’t find the back of the net, Al Nassr struggle to win.
Al Nassr remain on top of the Saudi Pro League table with 79 points, but Al Hilal trail with 74 and one game in hand. Hence, if Al Hilal manage to win that game, they could be just two points shy of the yellow-and-blue.
Cristiano Ronaldo also lost a step in the top-scorer race
It was a double loss for CR7 as he is also in the top-scorer battle of the Saudi Pro League. Cristiano is now third with 25 goals, and he saw Julian Quiñones score for Al Qadsiah and rise to 29 goals. Ivan Toney of Al-Ahli stays second with 27 goals.

Ronaldo came very close to scoring, but he hit the crossbar. At that moment, Al Qadsiah were leading the game 1-0, so it could’ve represented the equalizer. With only three games remaining, Ronaldo must enter a huge scoring-spree if he wants to end up as top scorer.
What do Al Nassr need to secure the Saudi Pro League title?
Al Nassr need to win two games to win the Saudi Pro League, as long as one of those games is the matchup they have against Al Hilal. If that’s the case, Al Nassr will essentially be champions. Al Nassr have 10 league titles, but haven’t won any since Ronaldo’s arrival.
If Al Nassr draw against Al Hilal, they still need to win their other remaining matches to maintain the lead. If Al Hilal win all their remaining games, they will be champions.
