The MLS Week 20 wasn’t a regular one, as we saw a couple of changes in the standings following some shockings results over the weekend. Check out the MLS 2020 table after Week 20 of play, both the Eastern and Western Conferences standings.

A Gonzalo Higuaín-less Inter Miami beat Orlando SC, 2-1 at home to climb to the 10th position, which would get them a spot in the play-off series. Robin Jansson with an own goal and Leandro González Pírez gave Inter a very valuable win over a complicated rival.

El Trafico saw the return of Carlos Vela, who didn’t wait too long to score and give his LAFC side a comfortable win over Los Angeles Galaxy, who keep their horrifying season, seeing the rest of the Western team from the bottom of the standings.

Meanwhile, arguably the biggest derby of the league ended up with a 1-1 tie that hurt both Seattle Sounders and Portland Timbers aspirations to be the lone leader of the Western Conference.

In the Eastern Conference, Philadelphia Union earned one of the most dominant, yet shocking victories of the season when they dismantled Toronto FC and beat them 5-0 at home, taking the victory and the first spot in the East.
