Once again, Forbes Mexico published a new list about soccer. This time, it's about the the most valuable teams in the Americas. For this 2020 edition, the magazine included 50 teams, many of them from the Major League Soccer and the Liga MX. Which one leads the list? Atlanta United, considered by far the most powerful team in the Americas, according to Forbes.
The complete list includes clubs from the United States, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Canada, Peru, Uruguay and Ecuador. Also, the magazine took into account different topics to make the ranking: value of the stadium (when it belongs to the club), price of the current squad and value of the brand.
That's why we will find many MLS teams in the list. Due to its infrastructure, the value of the sports industry in the US and its marketing, the Major League Soccer dominates the Top 10 and even the Top 20 of the this ranking.
