Matchday 5 of the South American 2022 World Cup Qualifiers had to be postponed last year due to the pandemic outbreak. That’s why it will be played now as part of a triple-fixture in October, with Venezuela and Ecuador head-to-head for the first time in the road to Qatar 2022.The match will be broadcast in the US by FuboTV.

La Vinotinto aren’t going through an easy atmosphere as they are bottom of the standings and the national soccer federation has dealt with multiple issues over the last few years. They were about to shock Brazil, but La Canarinha came from behind to win 3-1.

La Tri, on the other hand, are living a fantastic moment in the Conmebol World Cup Qualifiers as they are third on the table, just three points shy of Argentina. Ecuador want to make it consecutive wins after beating Bolivia.
