On Sunday, Barcelona will host Real Madrid for the first ‘El Clásico’ of La Liga 2021 at the Camp Nou. Everything’s ready for one of the most anticipated matches of every season and, besides some absences, this won’t be an exception. If you are in the United States, you can watch this match on ESPN+.

As always, this Clásico will be a crucial match for the future of the season. Real Madrid are currently third in the standings with 17 points, while Barcelona are in seventh place with 15. Both teams need the points, but, more than that, both teams want to come off on Sunday with their pride intact.

With many new faces, and the expectation of watching the first Clásico without Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos, many fans can’t wait to witness the Spanish derby. El Clásico 2021: When will Barcelona and Real Madrid meet again?

Barcelona and Real Madrid will meet again after Matchday 10 of La Liga, on January 12 for the Spanish Supercup. With the new format, Barcelona will play the Supercup as the current Copa del Rey champions, while Real Madrid will play as La Liga 2020-21 runners-up.

After that game, Real Madrid and Barcelona will face each other on March, 22, 2022 for Matchday 29 of La Liga. However, the date may change as it’s not confirmed yet. So, Barcelona and Madrid fans have plenty of Clásicos to look forward to.

For now, the eyes of the world will be on the Camp Nou and what will happen on Sunday. Will Barcelona finally get a win that will put them back on track? Or Real Madrid will extend their two-match winning streak against their bitter rivals? You can watch in the US via ESPN+.
