The Tennessee Titans have the No. 1 overall pick in the upcoming draft. This is a key decision for the franchise, which has never won a Super Bowl. According to a report from Jeremy Fowler, the team’s front office seems to already have a favorite between Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders.

“They would love to have a guy like Cam Ward. That’s the sentiment from people I’ve talked to with other teams. That’s what they sort of predict right now. They had a good process with Cam Ward, the interviews with him had gone well and their decisions over the last couple of weeks sort of inform us, right? They haven’t been active in free agency, they didn’t go and sign aggressively one of the star quarterbacks that were out there.”

As Fowler mentions, the Titans were never in the race to sign free agents like Sam Darnold or Aaron Rodgers, and that could be a clear sign that they are ready to select a quarterback.

Who has the No.1 pick in the NFL draft?

The Tennessee Titans have the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft, so they have the entire board available. At the quarterback position, everything seems to indicate that they are leaning towards Cam Ward over Shedeur Sanders.

Although Ward seems to be the priority, Fowler said that it is still not ruled out that the Titans could surprise by selecting defensive end Abdul Carter or perhaps that the team might trade back to gain more assets.
