“We’re trying to make it as easy on him as possible. Some of those throws he made at the end of the game were high-level difficulty throws and really good catches, but trying to make those be the throws that have to happen a couple of times a game and the rest of it be as easy as possible, and he’s figuring that part out as we go,” he said. “I think he really calmed down in the second half and just focused on putting his eyes where they’re supposed to be and just throwing the ball where it’s supposed to go and not trying to do anything other than that.“



Ward has gone 85 of 164 for 879 yards and two touchdowns against three interceptions and 19 sacks. The Titans are far away from contention, but they are eager to lay the ground to become a Super Bowl candidate.&nbsp;

“They’re going to blow it up no matter what, whether it’s good or bad for the Titans,” Ward said via team reporter Jim Wyatt. “So, we’re trying to win football games. That’s the biggest thing, and that’s what we’re going try to go do this week. I’m caring about my teammates and trying to win football games.”



The Titans are still winless, and the Cardinals aren’t an easy opponent. Ward and Co. will have to bring their best game to beat a team also eager to bounce back after suffering two consecutive losses.&nbsp;

This means the rookies Elic Ayomanor and Chimere Dike should step up. Ayomanor has, leading the team in yards with 151, which is not great, but his leading the team nevertheless.

Head coach Brian Callahan’s seat was hot before the start of the season but right now his job couldn’t be in more jeopardy. If we take a closer look on the Titans’ games, they are easily outcoached on playcalling, situational football and decision-making.



Callahan is not able to move the chains and he was supposed to be an offensive guru. His clock management is not good, the play designs are not creating openings and the team is not even close to winning games. The Titans front office must be carefully monitoring Callahan’s job.

“We’ve got to find a way to put ourselves in position to win games,” Callahan said. “We have to do a lot of things better. Everybody is included in that, me as well. There have been some good things offensively. We just need more of it through the course of a game.”
