“This injury sidelined me at the moment I wanted to be out there the most, and it hurts more than I can explain,” Yamal wrote. “It hurts not being able to fight alongside my teammates and help when the team needs me most. But I believe in this group, and I know they’re going to give their all in every match.”
While this marks Yamal’s first significant ailment of the calendar year, it is his third injury setback of the current campaign.
