It’s not a secret that professional athletes – literally – push their bodies to the edge every single time they’re performing. That’s what makes them stand out from amateurs or those who just don’t have what it takes to make it.

NBA players aren’t the exception to that rule. More often than not, they have to endure multiple burdens. From ailments and pains and playing through injury to, well, literally pushing far more than they should.

It’s been a poor-kept secret for years that, sometimes, NBA players get their shots dirty mid-game. Now, Phoenix Suns superstar Devin Booker finally admitted that all those rumors aren’t far from the truth.

Devin Booker Says NBA Players Poop Themselves In Games

“I’ve seen a couple white shorts where you see someone had a little accident on the back. Just ask any NBA equipment manager,” the two-time All-Star confessed Yaron Weitzman of TrueHoops.

“That’s definitely a thing. Usually when someone’s at the free-throw line you notice it. Especially if they’re wearing white,” former NBA player Lance Thomas also said.

Obviously, this confession once again brought to life one of the most infamous stories in NBA history. Back in the 2008 NBA Finals between the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers, Paul Pierce faked a major injury just to go to the bathroom.

Pierce himself admitted that he had to have a bathroom break and that was it, while some conspiracy theorists believe that he – literally – pooped himself in the game and that’s why he put on that charade.

‘The Truth’ became a legend around the league for his heroic comeback after spending several minutes in the locker room. Hell, he even asked for a wheelchair to be rushed to the team’s facilities right in the middle of the NBA Finals. That’s just hilarious.
