The Golden State Warriorshad some tough luck this year. They lost Klay Thompson before the start of the season, Stephen Curry also missed some time with a tailbone injury, and they couldn't get past the Los Angeles Lakers or Memphis Grizzlies to make the playoffs.

But, now that Klay Thompson is expected to make a full recovery, the team is expected to be quite aggressive in their pursuit of talent. They have the 7th and 14th pick in this year's Draft and promising big man James Wiseman to get an All-Star to the Bay area.

As much as they like Wiseman, the Warriors are in win-now mode. They need players that can contribute to their aspirations right now to make the most of Stephen Curry's prime while they still can.

NBA Trade Rumors: The Golden State Warriors Could Get One Of These Stars

So, with the Warriors looking to strengthen their roster and make a run at another championship right away, these are the 4 stars that could join them this summer, from the least to the most likely.

4. Damian Lillard

Damian Lillard is reportedly frustrated with the Portland Trail Blazers' current situation. Hiring Chauncey Billups has also put a target on his back (as Dame endorsed him) due to his past with a sexual harassment scandal, so there's a chance he forces his way out of the team.

Lillard is an Oakland native and grew up attending Warriors games. Then again, he won't be a free agent until 2025 so any trade package for him would have to be massive. The Warriors would most likely have to give up both 1st-round picks, multiple future picks, James Wiseman, Jordan Poole, and Andrew Wiggins.

3. Ben Simmons

Ben Simmons' trade value is at an all-time low right now. For the first time, the Philadelphia 76ers are actually considering parting ways with him, and he'd be a massive upgrade for the Warriors if they decide to slide him to the four or the five spot.

Simmons is an elite playmaker and the Warriors have enough shooting around him to make the most of his talents. He can guard one through five and he's represented by Klutch Sports and Rich Paul... just like Draymond Green. He's a high-risk/high-reward kind of pickup, but it's unlikely that the Sixers will be interested in James Wiseman with Joel Embiid on their roster.

2. Myles Turner

Myles Turner is one of the most underrated players in the league. He's led the NBA in blocks twice already and is also a great stopper on the perimeter. He can knock down shots from all three levels and would be tailor-made for the Warriors' system.

The Indiana Pacers seem heavily committed to Domantas Sabonis and Turner's fit next to him is questionable, to say the least. Also, given his injury woes, Indiana might consider moving him at a fair price. Turner could give the Warriors a huge boost on both ends of the floor given his skill set.

1. Pascal Siakam

And last but not least, we find Pascal Siakam, whose trade value is also at rock bottom right now. Following his breakout season with the 2019 World Champions Toronto Raptors, Siakam has vastly regressed and failed to take a step forward as a franchise player.

The Warriors are in preliminary talks to send James Wiseman and the 7th pick to the Raptors to land the African big man. Like Turner, he's a perfect fit for their system given their length, playmaking ability, and shooting. He won't be asked to be the go-to guy but will get plenty of wide-open looks with the Splash Brothers around him.
