Even non-NBA fans seem to be aware of Scott Foster’s feud with <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/chris-paul" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Chris Paul.</a> Regardless of what he or the league has to say on the matter, it’s more than evident that he’s got a personal agenda against CP3, and he’s not even trying to hide it anymore.



Paul’s feud with Foster has been on for quite a while now. It reached a point when CP3 and his teams went 13 straight playoff games without a win when Foster was the lead official. That just cannot be a coincidence.



Notably, the feud has followed Paul all the way to the Bay area. Foster ejected him with two quick technical fouls the last time he officiated the <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/golden-state-warriors" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Golden State Warriors,</a> with Paul having a tough choice of words for the referee.



That’s why <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/nba" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">NBA</a> Commissioner Adam Silver recently addressed the issue, stating that he hopes both can do their job to the best of their capacities even if they don’t like each other.

<h2>Adam Silver Says The League Reached Out To Both</h2>



“You have there — two veterans who are the best at what they do,” Silver said on SiriusXM NBA Radio. “Scott is one of the most respected NBA officials, one of the highest-rated NBA officials, which is why he referees in our Finals games. Of course, Chris [Paul] ‘s track record speaks for itself.”



The Commissioner stated that the league has actually reached out to both parties in an attempt to clear the air, adding that the expectation is that they can both act like professionals:



“The way you handle that, at least the way we’ve tried to handle that, is talk to both of them and say, ‘The expectation is that you’re going to be professional.’ And deal privately with the two of them and say guys, ‘Whatever the bad blood is between you two, you don’t have to be friends, but you got to both go out and do your jobs.’ So that’s my expectation moving forward,” Silver said.



<h2>Paul Denies Silver’s Story</h2>



Nonetheless, Paul recently denied that story, stating that no one from the league has gotten in touch with him regarding the incident and adding that he had to reach out to the President of League Operations about the matter:

“Nah, ain’t nobody called me since all that happened. The league, usually sometimes they’ll call or interview you, but nobody texted, called or nothing since it happened,” Paul said. “I don’t know. I haven’t talked to Adam. [President of league operations] Bryon [Spruell]. Nobody. I talked to Bryon, but I had to call him. He didn’t call me. I don’t know, it’s weird.”



<h2>The League Needs To Stop This</h2>



We don’t know if Chris Paul started this or if it was Scott Foster. Paul says it’s personal — and it definitely looks that way — although no one could find any evidence of Foster talking about Paul’s son in the altercation that led to his ejection, which is what Paul said.

Then again, it just doesn’t matter at this point. This is hurting the league’s credibility, and you cannot have a player-referee feud being a talking point. It’s time to cut it out and just ban Foster from officiating games involving Chris Paul, for everybody’s sake.

Whatever the case, coach Steve Kerr has failed to make adjustments and right the ship.



With that in mind, and considering the Warriors have already made it loud and clear that they want to compete now, not in the future, some analysts believe it’s just a matter of time before they make a big move.

<h2>Warriors, Raptors And Knicks Make A Big Trade</h2>



Warriors Receive: Pascal Siakam and Isaiah Hartenstein



Raptors Receive: Andrew Wiggins, Evan Fournier, Jonathan Kuminga, Quentin Grimes, a 2024 first-round pick from New York, a 2028 first-round pick from New York and a 2028 first-round pick from Golden State



Knicks Receive: OG Anunoby, Moses Moody, Gary Payton II



<h2>Knicks Take A Huge Leap</h2>



The New York Knicks would get a building block in OG Anunoby, one of the best wing defenders in the league, who’s also eligible to sign a contract extension right now. 



They would add an instant offensive spark off the bench like Moses Moody alongside a pesky and strong defender like Gary Payton II, all without having to part ways with any of their core guys, such as Julius Randle, Jalen Brunson, or R.J. Barrett.



The Knicks would take a significant leap forward in terms of championship contention, as they would add more talent without giving up crucial parts of their rotation, and they’d still have more first-round picks to make more deals.

<h2>Raptors Keep Building</h2>



The Toronto Raptors are good but not good enough to compete at the highest level right now. With this move, they would no longer be at risk of losing Anunoby or Pascal Siakam in free agency, and they’d get significantly better in the future.



Adding three first-round picks is a big win on its own, and getting two serviceable role players in Evan Fournier and Quentin Grimes makes it better. Andrew Wiggins would be heading back home and giving them some much-needed defense, or they could even trade him later down the stretch.



The biggest win here would be getting Jonathan Kuminga, who’s shown flashes of greatness and would be a perfect fit next to Scottie Barnes, putting together one of the most promising and athletic duos in the league for years to come.



<h2>Warriors Win Now</h2>



Andrew Wiggins has become an instrumental part of the Golden State Warriors, so losing him would obviously be painful. The same goes for Moses Moody and Jonathan Kuminga, as they were both promising and expected to be franchise cornerstones at some point.

But the Warriors cannot afford to wait any longer if they want to make the most of Stephen Curry’s prime. They need to be aggressive and make a big move to turn things around before it’s too late.

His perimeter defense, efficient shooting, and his ability to get hot in the blink of an eye had made him the perfect complement next to <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/stephen-curry" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Stephen Curry</a> and Draymond Green.



Nonetheless, as good as he’s been for the team over his career, he’s not being very helpful right now. Perhaps his contract year has gotten on his head or perhaps he’s entering the decline of his career. Whatever the case, he hasn’t been the same player this season.



That’s why multiple fans and analysts have speculated about his future. The Warriors are in win-now mode and cannot afford any more setbacks, so some believe they could pull the plug on him and find him a trade suitor.

<h2>Warriors Won’t Trade Thompson</h2>



NBA insider Zach Lowe even reported that several executives reached out to him wondering whether Thompson could become available and showing an interest in his services:



“I’ve had four executives from other teams in the last 72 hours asked me, ‘Would they ever trade Klay Thompson?’ And the reason they’re asking is because teams see somewhat of an opportunity there,” he said on The Lowe Post. “In terms of, ‘Can we get involved in a deal? Would they have to attach an asset to trade Klay Thompson if they want to get meaningful win-now talent with multiple years left on their contract in exchange for Klay Thompson?”



However, as big a market as there could be for the talented shooting guard, Lowe wanted to make it loud and clear that the Warriors have no intention whatsoever to trade him:



“To be clear, the Warriors do not want to trade Klay Thompson,” added the insider. “They have no desire to do it. I would bet heavily against it ever happening.”

<h2>Thompson Will Test Free Agency</h2>



Still, that doesn’t mean this will be the end of the Thompson-Warriors saga. They failed to reach an agreement on a contract extension in the offseason, and Adrian Wojnarowski claims he could even test unrestricted free agency to work out a new deal next summer:



“I’m told that there has been absolutely no progress on a Klay Thompson extension in Golden State. That they are both still apart on years and money,” said Wojnarowski. “And there’s a very real possibility that Klay Thompson goes into free agency next summer without a deal.”

Thompson is currently averaging 15.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 2.8 three-pointers per game on 40/36/87 shooting splits, and he’s not getting any younger, but he could still fetch a lucrative deal. There’s an ongoing narrative stating that Green has already ruined two Warriors’ seasons: First in 2016 by being suspended in the NBA Finals, and then last season because of his fight with Jordan Poole.



One could make a case for that being somewhat valid. Nonetheless, the Warriors would’ve never even been in a position to win if it wasn’t for Green as well, which is why they’ve always been OK with living and dying by his temper.

“I would take him every day and twice on Sunday. Let me tell you, when you have Draymond, Draymond, Draymond, you got energy,” Salley said on Undisputed. “Now, people may sit there and say, well, he caused them a problem. He didn’t cause them a problem. He is the energy, and when you got that kind of energy, you win all the time.”



Salley compared Green to Bill Laimbeer, one of the biggest troublemakers in league history, in the sense that he won’t hesitate to make himself the scapegoat so the rest of the team can take pressure off their shoulders.



“I played with Bill Laimbeer, and he would yell at the refs and point to the refs, and everyone called him a crybaby,” Salley added. “But Bill would say, you know what? I’m going to take all the bullets. You guys give me all the bullets. I’ll take all that pressure. And all that energy from the referees are now on alert.”



<h2>Rachel Nichols Agrees With Salley</h2>



Notably, NBA insider Rachel Nichols echoed a similar sentiment. She believes that every single player on the Warriors roster would go to war for Green, so there’s no place for that narrative of him ruining their seasons:

The only reason more people don’t say <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/klay-thompson" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Klay Thompson</a> is the greatest shooter in <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/nba" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">NBA </a>history is that he shares the court with <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/stephen-curry" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Stephen Curry. </a>Otherwise, it would be a much more heated debate.



However, as great and efficient as he is, he’s having a tough start to the season, and the <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/golden-state-warriors" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Golden State Warriors</a> need him to get his act together right now. They cannot afford to have him and Andrew Wiggins missing wide-open shots night in and night out.



Thompson has been under heavy fire this season. That’s why he recently burst out at his critics and those who believe he could be better coming off the bench, stating that he just doesn’t care about what people have to say anymore:



“I don’t care what people say,” Thompson said. “It’s like, they don’t do what we do. They can’t do what we do. That’s why they talk. Why would I? Like, come on. I don’t care what people say at this point in my life, ha! Next question.”

<h2>Stephen A. Smith Rips Thompson Over Latest Comments</h2>



Needless to say, those comments didn’t rub a lot of people the right way. ESPN pundit Stephen A. Smith, for one, thinks Thompson should take a deep look in the mirror and work on his game instead of going against the fans:



“This is one of the greatest shooters in NBA history,” Smith said on First Take. “But that ain’t what you’ve been looking like. You’ve been playing like hot trash. That is the bottom line. We expect better from Klay Thompson. We know what kind of a champion he is. And respectfully, that right there what he said before the game last night, is a flat-out cop-out.”



Smith reaffirmed his belief in Thompson being one of the best players in the game, which is why he believes his careless attitude isn’t doing him any favors right now:



“That’s about you not owning up to the fact that you‘re not doing the kind of things we know you can do,” Smith continued. “We know you’re capable of doing. And you’re just shrugging it off like you don’t give a damn. Maybe you should give a damn.“

<h2>His Future Is Under The Scope</h2>



Truth be told, Thompson is one of the players under the most pressure in the league right now. He failed to reach an agreement on a contract extension, and he’s likely to become an unrestricted free agent in the offseason.



He’s always talked about his desire to stay in the Bay area for the remainder of his career, but the Warriors seem to have second thoughts about signing him to a big contract. Needless to say, this kind of play isn’t helping his case to get the payday he’s looking for.

Thus far, the four-time NBA champion is averaging roughly over 15 points per game on 40% from the floor, which is far below his career averages. The team owes him a lot, and they should do right by him. But this is a ruthless business, and with the new CBA hampering all team’s abilities to put together multiple big contracts, this could be a major issue in the summer.

The <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/golden-state-warriors" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Golden State Warriors</a> needed to win by at least 12 points to advance to the <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/nba" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">NBA’s</a> In-Season Tournament’s quarterfinals. Given their recent history with the <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/sacramento-kings" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Sacramento Kings,</a> that was going to be a bit of an uphill task, as things have gotten quite chippy between the two.



Steve Kerr’s boys hit the ground running from the start. The Warriors led by as many as 24 points in the first half, putting up 72 points on the road against a Kings team that seemed overmatched and outhustled on both ends of the floor.



Then, a series of unfortunate incidents opened up the door for the Kings to storm right back in, making the most of their physicality to get to the free-throw line and flip the script right back in their favor.



Malik Monk knocked down a big mid-range shot with little under 10 seconds left to play to give his team an ensuing one-point lead to put an end to the Warriors’ run in the In-Season Tournament and giving them a major reality check.

<h2>Curry Says Warriors Ran Out Of Gas</h2>



Stephen<a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/stephen-curry" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> Curry </a>was as spectacular as usual, knocking down 29 points with ten rebounds, six assists, one block, and four three-pointers. The rest of his supporting cast got off to a strong start, but they fell flat in the final two quarters:



“Our first half was pretty solid, probably the best basketball we’ve played on both sides of the floor,” Curry said. “Had a couple of untimely turnovers to start a momentum run. Then they got to the foul line 42 times, which is gonna do a lot of things, easy points, but even on misses or makes, they get to set their defense.”



Curry gave the Kings’ defense a lot of credit, but he knows this is a game they should’ve won. The Warriors have struggled to close out games, and he wants the team to realize they must be better down the stretch: 



“It’s going to be too tough to swallow just because we should have won that game,” Curry said. “We played well enough to win for 40 minutes, and knowing the stretch we’ve been on, we were really motivated. You get to the finish line, and you end up losing. It’s a tough pill to swallow; it’s frustrating. We all got to look ourselves in the mirror.”

<h2>Draymond Was At It Again</h2>



Notably, the Warriors didn’t have their best defender on the floor when they needed him the most. Draymond Green, fresh off a five-game suspension, got himself out of the court by picking up a technical foul and a quick intentional foul in the second half.



Steve Kerr got him out; the Kings went on an 11-3 run to flip the table and get their first lead since their first bucket. It all went downhill from there, with both teams alternating buckets and lead changes.

Green has been unapologetic about his complaints and character, but perhaps it is time his teammates start holding him accountable. He’s just too valuable to keep hurting his team this way, especially during such a critical stretch.

The <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/golden-state-warriors" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Golden State Warriors</a> got off to a solid start to the <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/nba" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">NBA</a> season. But despite <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/stephen-curry" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Stephen Curry’s </a>stellar play, they just haven’t been able to keep up with the rest of the Western Conference, losing seven of their last ten and falling to an 8-9 record.



Of course, a lot of that had to do with the fact that Curry missed a couple of games with a knee injury, and <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/draymond-green" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Draymond Green</a> served a five-game suspension. However, even in the wins and even at full strength, Klay Thompson and Andrew Wiggins have failed to play up to their standards.



They’re both going through a big slump, which is why Tim Kawakami of The Athletic asked Klay his thoughts about coach Steve Kerr sticking with his current lineup. Unsurprisingly, the four-time NBA champion didn’t like the question one bit:



“What, do you want him to bench me?” Klay responded. “Or bench Wigs? I mean, you can suggest it, that’s fine. But thank Steve, I guess, I don’t know. Sometimes you earn these things, like patience and time to find yourself. I think history is on our side when it comes to that stuff.”

<h2>Thompson Doesn’t Care About The Naysayers</h2>



Thompson has always been a fierce competitor and has never hesitated to clap back at his critics. This time isn’t the exception, and he won’t let the haters steal his focus:



“I don’t care what people say,” Klay said. “It’s like, they don’t do what we do. They can’t do what we do. That’s why they talk. Why would I? Like, come on. I don’t care what people say at this point in my life, ha! Next question.”



Even so, it’s a fact that he and Wiggins need to do better. Klay is averaging 15.0 points on 40% shooting, almost five fewer points than his career average. Wiggins, on the other hand, is averaging 11.8 points on 25% from beyond the arc and 51% from the free-throw line.



The Warriors still have Chris Paul and Jonathan Kuminga leading the way in the second unit, and they could mix things up to find a stronger scoring punch in the starting five. Even so, they’re not likely to make any major changes right now.



<h2>Kerr Has Faith In His Stars</h2>



Coach Kerr is one of the greatest shooters in NBA history, but, like all shooters, he also went through some major slumps. That’s why he knows just how important it is for a player to keep getting his touches to get his groove back:

“Having been a player myself, I always wanted my coaches to show confidence in me through a slump,” Kerr said. “So I know how much that means to a player, when a coach stands by you. And then we just won a championship a year and a half ago with Wigs and Klay playing a huge role.”



This current Warriors’ lineup has played together for quite a while and even won a championship together, so Kerr obviously has faith in them. Even so, he didn’t rule out the possibility of making a change at some point:



“Obviously, that five-man (starting) unit that we talk about from last year, that started all last year, was the best one in the league,” the coach stated. “That’s a big sample size. I’m really going to believe in that group and believe in those guys who accomplished so much for a long time. As a coach, it’s just a matter of recognizing if you have to make a change of some sort, when is that juncture, when is that critical point in the season where alright, we’ve seen enough, we’ve gotta do something different.”

The Warriors’ pace-and-space offense hasn’t been at its best this season, playing at the 14th-fastest pace in the league (99.0) and being 12th in the league in scoring (114.2 PPG). Also, they average the fourth-most turnovers per game (15.0), which obviously hampers their offense.



Both Thompson and Wiggins have been through slumps in the past, and they’re just too good not to get back on track. But it’s a fact that this Warriors team cannot compete for a championship playing this way.



The Warriors are still in contention for the In-Season Tournament, but they have their eyes on the bigger prize. Also, with Thompson still fetching a contract extension — or a new deal altogether — his contributions in the upcoming months could be key in that regard.

Thompson is no longer the elite backcourt defender he was before the injuries, but he’s still one of the most efficient three-point shooters this game has ever seen, and the Warriors need him to perform as such.

When you look at <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/stephen-curry">Stephen Curry</a>‘s résumé, you assume there’s nothing he hasn’t achieved throughout his career. The <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/golden-state-warriors">Golden State Warriors</a> superstar has won four <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/nba">NBA</a> championships, two MVP awards, one NBA Finals MVP, and made the All-Star game on nine occasions.



He also got to play next to Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green, forming unstoppable teams with them in the Bay area. Even so, the 35-year-old admits he would have loved to play next to other legends to make his career even more memorable. Recently, he mentioned the three players he’d have liked to share the court with. 



“My top three, obviously [Michael] Jordan, [Shaquille O’Neal] and I’d probably say Hakeem Olajuwon,” Curry told NBC Sports Bay Area in a recent episode of the “Dubs Talk” podcast. “I’d like to play with all three of those guys, because I think with Jordan, we all just want to see it up close and personal. And then I think pick-and-roll with me and Hakeem or me and Shaq would be pretty much unstoppable.”



Those are things basketball fans would definitely love to see. While a combo of Steph and MJ would be impossible to hold for opponents, Curry would certainly benefit from pairing with players with the size of Shaq or Hakeem.

<h2>Curry reveals what ability he would take from them</h2>



Curry was also asked, if he could go back in time, what he would take from these legendary players. When asked whether he would prefer to have MJ’s dominance on the air or Shaq’s strength to physically outplay his opponents, Steph chose the latter. It makes sense, since it’s something he doesn’t boast.

“Probably physically dominating,” he said. “It’s just such the opposite of my experience on the court. I’ve dunked a couple of times, but like to have somebody like, (Curry smacks his right hand down to his left), they call it ‘Mouse in the House’ and you can just post up and understand as soon as I catch it, this guy behind me has no chance. That’d be an out-of-body experience, for sure. So I’ve seen the Shaq highlights, I want to break some backboards every once in a while. That’d be fun.”



<h2>Curry, Warriors with work to do this season</h2>



With everything he’s done for the organization, Curry will always have time for these kinds of topics regardless of the time of the season. That said, the guard knows the Warriors have to turn up their level this year.

Steve Kerr’s men have lost 7 of their last 10 games, which sees them 10th in the West with an 8-9 record. Needless to say, that’s not even close to where they want to be by the end of the regular season. 



Of course, there’s still a long way to go and they still have a star-studded team. So we’ll have to wait and see whether this was just a bad start or if this is the theme for the rest of the campaign.

The <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/golden-state-warriors" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Golden State Warriors</a> didn’t have one of their most important players on the court, and that obviously took a big toll on their record. Their defense takes a huge hit without <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/draymond-green" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Draymond Green</a>, who was out serving a five-game suspension.



Green got <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/minnesota-timberwolves" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Minnesota Timberwolves</a> big man Rudy Gobert in a chokehold, being ejected just 100 seconds into a game. Gobert, who was doing the same to Klay Thompson, didn’t face any sort of discipline over his actions.



Notably, this isn’t the first time that Green has been tangled up in these kinds of situations, which is probably why the league — again — decided to make an example out of him and handed him that five-game suspension on top of the ejection.



The four-time <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/nba" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">NBA</a> champion knows he’s on a short leash and has a history of controversial moves and plays. Even so, and even if his team needs him on the floor, he’s just not going to change his ways.

<h2>Green Has No Regrets</h2>



Green has already made it loud and clear that he doesn’t care about the pundits, naysayers, and even Warriors fans who want him to tone it down. All he cares about is what his teammates and loved ones think, and he’ll never apologize for defending a teammate:



“I don’t live my life with regrets,” Green said. “I’ll come to a teammate’s defense any time that I’m in a position to come to a teammate’s defense. What matters to me is how the people that I care about feel, first and foremost. How are the people that I care about affected? How are the people I care about; what do they have to deal with? That’s it for me.”



It’s more than clear that Green would’ve done it all over again if he had the chance to do it. That’s just the kind of player he is, and the Warriors have lived and died by him multiple times:

“Things can be interpreted how people want to interpret them,” he said. “I’m not here to judge people’s interpretations or try to change them. They are what they are. I know that for me, I am always going to be there for my teammates. That’s who I am. That’s who I am as a teammate; that’s who I am as a friend. Right, wrong, or indifferent, look to your side, and I’ll be there — or even in front of you.“



<h2>He Thinks He’s Being Scapegoated</h2>



Even so, the league has now suspended him and sanctioned him for his repeated involvement in scuffles. That’s why he believes he’s being scapegoated and whatever he did in the past shouldn’t count anymore:



“To continue mentioning, ‘Oh, well, he did this in the past,’ I paid for those,” Green said. “I got suspended in Game 5 of the NBA Finals. You can’t keep suspending me for those actions.”

It’s a fact that he has a shorter leash than any other player in the league. But that’s also why he should know better and not get himself in a position to be suspended in the first place.

Needless to say, it’s not a coincidence that<a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/draymond-green" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> Draymond Green </a>has missed five of those games due to a suspension.



Gobert’s altercation with Rudy Gobert just one minute into their clash vs. the <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/minnesota-timberwolves" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Minnesota Timberwolves</a> has forced Steve Kerr to shake off his rotation, and the team’s defense has taken a big hit.



With that in mind, <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/stephen-curry" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Stephen Curry</a> acknowledged the struggles the team has been through without its best defender and one of their best playmakers, admitting that they desperately need Green back on the court:



“You know, we’re 8-9,” Curry said after their win over the San Antonio Spurs. “Like I said, that nine-game stretch that we’re in right now. It’s not been great. So I know Draymond is excited to be back. We’re excited to have him.”

<h2>Stephen Curry Explains Draymond Green’s Impact</h2>



“We need him,” continued Curry. “To kind of just focus on the areas of improvement, especially offensively, well, I guess both sides of the ball, offensively in terms of what we’re trying to accomplish in each possession, defensively, be more connected as a unit, and trust in each other a little bit more so that we can be better, like the point of attack, defense, and knowing that we have help side and just being more organized on that front too.”



Fortunately for them, the Warriors will finally get him back on the court for Wednesday night’s divisional clash with the Sacramento Kings. Even so, the four-time NBA champion knows the team still needs to put up a big effort to solve the woes that have hurt them thus far:



“So Draymond being back helps a lot, not just because of what he does defensively with the way he communicates, but it won’t solve everything,” Steph concluded.



<h2>Warriors Are Being Patient</h2>



Trading for Chris Paul was a somewhat bizarre decision. As great a player as he is, he’s by no means a natural fit for their system. Even so, the Warriors continue to stay optimistic about his play and his impact on the second unit, even if the results haven’t been the best thus far.

Then again, the Warriors are a win-now team, and they cannot afford to wait and rest on their laurels while they figure things out. That means they could be looking at making some moves if they don’t improve their record ahead of the trade deadline.



Paul, Jonathan Kuminga, and Moses Moody figure to be the Warriors’ most valuable trade assets at the moment, and while it could be tough to envision which star-caliber player they could target with that set of assets, they’ve proven that they won’t hesitate to be uber-aggressive to overhaul the roster if need be.

Green’s return will give them a big boost defensively and allow them to deploy their usual rotations. But don’t be shocked if they’re tangled up in multiple trade rumors if they don’t turn things around soon.

The <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/golden-state-warriors" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Golden State Warriors </a>have now lost six games in a row, dropping their record to 6-8 after an impressive start to the season. And while they’ve been undermanned either because of <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/stephen-curry" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Stephen Curry’s</a> injury or <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/draymond-green" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Draymond Green’s</a> suspension, those who have been on the court have been less than impressive. 



Klay Thompson and Andrew Wiggins haven’t been able to get out of their early-season slump, scoring at a much less efficient clip than usual and with their overall numbers taking a dip.



That’s why, following their sixth consecutive defeat, coach Steve Kerr pivoted from his words of earlier in the season, finally admitting that he could look at making some lineup changes to get out of this funk.



“Yeah, it’s a possibility,” Kerr told the media. “You know, we love the lineup that we’ve started the last couple of years and we want to give that unit every opportunity to get going and we know when [Andrew Wiggins and Klay Thompson] are shooting the ball well, that lineup makes perfect sense.”

The coach hinted at potentially giving more minutes to rising rookie Brandin Podziemski, who has been quite impressive early in the season and even played 39 minutes against the Minnesota Timberwolves:



“I think he can play backup point guard,” Kerr said. “But I think he’s just a basketball player. So we can play him anywhere. The beauty of him is that the game connects when he’s out there. I’m excited to see him play with Steph and Klay. He’s gonna get those guys a lot of shots just with the way he plays, and the way the ball moves. So we’ll see. We’ll have to figure it out.”



<h2>They Need Draymond</h2>



The Warriors are 6-8 and aren’t playing their best basketball right now, but Kevon Looney and company aren’t ready to hit the panic button just yet. If anything, they know they have more than enough resources to turn the ship around.



“I wouldn’t say I’m worried,” Looney told The Athletic. “I guess you can say worried a little bit because you can’t be losing games like this at home. I think we’ve got enough to be good but we‘ve got to figure it out.”

Looney also talked about Draymond Green’s importance and how they need him to be back on the court, as he’s pretty much the quarterback of their defense and their vocal presence and leader:



“His voice,” Looney said. “He helps us make adjustments a lot. When things aren’t going right, he’s one of the best basketball minds in the league. So he’s seeing things and he’s able to adapt and tell coach, ‘We should do this instead’ and we adjust. He makes things happen like that. Or he can just do it all himself on the court where he sees things happen. He cleans up a lot of mistakes. I think we missed that a lot from him. And he pushes the pace. When things aren’t going right, we can’t score, he pushes (it) and gets guys open shots and different guys good looks.”

Green has two games left in his suspension before being eligible to come back, and while he’s definitely going to give them another strong punch on both ends of the floor, coach Kerr will have to dig deep into his bag of tricks to turn this around soon.
