Another loss for the Kansas City Chiefs, this time to an underdog like the Titans in Week 7 of the 2021 NFL season. Now the Chiefs have a negative record with 4 losses and only three wins after this humiliating loss in Tennessee. At the end of the game the Chiefs lost 3 points to 27 against the Titans.
Patrick Mahomes failed to throw touchdown passes, only 20/35 passes completed for 57.1%, 206 passing yards with an interception. That game against the Titans was the worst for Mahomes so far this season, the first game for Mahomes with less than 60% effectiveness in the 2021 NFL season.
The Titans dominated the game from the first quarter with 14 points, the Chiefs were unable to score points in the first half, the second quarter was also dominated by the Titans with 13 points. Patrick Mahomes, turnover machine, just tried another desperate throw, fumbed but his knee was down … but took a knee to the head as he went down and wobbled to the injury tent. Looks OK now but doubtful he’ll return. Tenn 27, KC 3 with 6:46 remaining. Chiefs are a mess.

The Chiefs may be terrible & I may be having my first sub .500 picks year in forever, but at least Tom Brady incompletions are still getting egregiously late DPI flags, so somethings have remained the same.

The Chiefs are a broken football team right now and I don’t know how they are going to fix this.

The Chiefshave to think about how to get out of this bad streak. In Week 8 and 9 they play the Giants and Packers at home. Then the team travels to Nevada to play against the Raiders. The last game before Bye Week 12 will be in Week 11 at home against the Cowboys.
