For several weeks, Rodgers has been looking for the best opportunity to win the Super Bowl after being released by the Jets. First, he considered the Rams, and when that option closed, the Vikings started to seem like a very tempting option over Pittsburgh.

Aaron Rodgers may not sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers, as according to what Schefter mentions, the star quarterback still can’t shake the possibility of the Vikings calling him if J.J. McCarthy isn’t ready.

“He’s met with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He’s talked with the Pittsburgh Steelers. There’s no answer. In the background, he’s waiting to see if, over time, there’s any sort of chance that odds of signing in Minnesota increase and that opportunity could open up.
