“Both areas, Pittsburgh and New York, have something to offer that are a little different. The prevailing theme from talking to people around the league is that Pittsburgh is the better football decision. New York might be the better decision for sentiment. He was in New Jersey for the last two years and already has a home there. Also, New York is a big marketing hub. A lot of things that Rodgers is likely weighing.”

A third option, which seems highly unlikely, could be the Minnesota Vikings. Undoubtedly, of all the possibilities, it would give him the best roster to compete for a Super Bowl.

For now, Aaron Rodgers’ future is between four options: Pittsburgh Steelers, New York Giants, Minnesota Vikings, or retirement. According to information from insiders like Fowler, the last two are the least likely.

“From what I’m told from a source with knowledge of the situation is that Aaron Rodgers has offers from both New York and Pittsburgh. As far as everybody knows, he has not made any sort of firm determination on which offer to take. I don’t really get the sense that this is about the money. It’s about fit and ability to win.”
