Aaron Rodgers took a shot at Bears fans during a live event held in Austin, Texas with Mike Stud. A Chicago fan asked him to please retire already, and this was the quarterback’s response.

“The best thing about Bears fans is every year: ‘This is our year, this is our year. We added this guy and that guy. We got a new coach from Detroit. Oh, man. Look out.’ Right? Packers fans, we know that, right? And what does every coach that signs with the Bears say? ‘We got to beat the Packers.’ Right? Packers don’t care.”

The Chicago Bears are about to begin another rebuilding process with Ben Johnson as head coach. The well-known quarterback whisperer is expected to help Caleb Williams’ NFL career take off.

What did Aaron Rodgers say about the Bears?

Aaron Rodgers commented that Bears fans keep building high expectations every year, but in the end, the results remain disappointing. Of course, as he’s done for many years, the quarterback bragged that the rivalry with the Packers has been absolutely dominated by Green Bay, especially during his time with the team.

Additionally, during that same event, the veteran said he would never play for Chicago. “No. Not happening. I love Chicago way more than they love me. It’s been a great relationship. All one way (laughs). Beautiful city.”
