Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes, and Travis Kelce will face a tough mission in the 2025 season if they want to return to the Super Bowl. Several contenders like the Ravens and the Bills are lurking, and the AFC West won’t be as easy to navigate as it once was.

Jim Harbaugh has changed the mindset of the Chargers, leading them to the playoffs in 2024 with Justin Herbert. It’s a similar story for the Broncos, who now have their future star in Bo Nix. If that wasn’t enough, the Raiders are starting a rebuilding process with Pete Carroll, Geno Smith, and, of course, Tom Brady as a minority owner.

In this scenario, the Kansas City Chiefs have no margin for error as they fight to keep their dynasty alive. On top of that, there’s another factor that could derail their championship hopes: injuries.

Who got injured with Chiefs?

Hollywood Brown (ankle) and Xavier Worthy (concussion) are injured with the Kansas City Chiefs. In just one week of training camp, alarm bells have gone off at the wide receiver position, which was a major headache last season.

The good news is that, according to a report from Jordan Schultz, Brown’s injury doesn’t appear to be serious. “Sources: Chiefs WR Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown, who left practice on a cart with a lower leg injury, avoided anything serious.”

Andy Reid hinted at the same during his press conference when asked if there was any reason to be concerned about Hollywood’s ankle. “I don’t think it’s too bad, but, we’ll see. See how it goes.”
