Jerry Jones has no intention of trading Dak Prescott to the Cleveland Browns, according to a report from Jane Slater. After rumors shook social media, the star quarterback will remain as the leader of the Dallas Cowboys.

“I run it all down when working this beat and the Dallas Cowboys are NOT working on trading Dak to the Browns. In fact, texts with two sources tell me ‘fake news’ and ‘absolutely not’ before this gets any sort of wheels.”

The message from Jones is clear. Prescott is the right man to try to lead the Cowboys to the Super Bowl, heading a roster with stars like CeeDee Lamb and Micah Parsons.

Where will Dak Prescott play next season?

Dak Prescott will play with the Dallas Cowboys next season after any trade to the Browns was ruled out. Just in 2024, Jerry Jones made the quarterback the highest-paid player in history, so parting ways with him seemed impossible.

Although media-wise, Shedeur Sanders would have a tremendous impact with the Cowboys due to his connection with his father, Deion, the reality is that Dallas’ plans are far from that blockbuster trade.
