Mike Tomlin and the Pittsburgh Steelers continue their search for the quarterback of the future while waiting for Aaron Rodgers. Now, according to a report by Gerry Dulac, the meeting was with Ohio State prospect Will Howard.
“Mike Tomlin and Omar Khan met with 3 Ohio State players of interest in Columbus. RBs Quinshon Judkins and TreVeyon Henderson and quarterback Will Howard.”
A few days ago, the Steelers met with Ole Miss star Jaxson Dart, and several rumors point to strong interest in Alabama’s Jalen Milroe. Because of this, it seems inevitable that they will pick a quarterback in the upcoming draft.
Who will be Steelers’ QB?
Aaron Rodgers is the short-term priority for the Pittsburgh Steelers, but the veteran would only serve as a transition quarterback. The expectation of the team’s front office is to find a franchise quarterback through the draft.
Besides Dart, Milroe, or Howard, a highly unlikely scenario projects Shedeur Sanders falling to the No. 21 pick, which would allow the Steelers to consider signing the Colorado star.
