While the Steelers wait on Aaron Rodgers, Tomlin and Omar Khan will have to face a crucial draft day as they plan for the future of the franchise. If Sanders is available at the No. 21 spot, they may believe that the Colorado star is the key to becoming long-term Super Bowl contenders.

The Steelers have a high grade on Shedeur Sanders and could draft him, but it will all depend on whether other teams like the New York Giants or the New Orleans Saints donât jump ahead to select him in the first round.
