āIām excited to be quite honest about the acquisition of new talent. Aaron came and spent a day with us. We had an awesome day. For a couple of guys like ourselves, me and Aaron to have been in the league as long as we have and to be familiar with one another, thereās still no substitute for spending time together and bouncing ideas off one another. Getting to know one another in a more intimate way beyond competition. So, that was exciting.ā
The Steelers believe that Rodgers is the ideal man to take the next step in their pursuit of a Super Bowl within a very crowded AFC. However, there is still no response from the player, and itās unclear how long it will take for him to communicate his final decision.
