Odell Beckham Jr. has once again surfaced as a potential option for the New York Giants and the situation remains fluid following a new report from Dan Duggan. The veteran wide receiver has been linked to a possible return, though no formal steps appear to have been taken yet by the team.

Duggan provided an update during the NFL owners meetings that added intrigue to the situation. “Update: Odell, who lives in Phoenix, came to the hotel hosting the owners meetings and was spotted sitting and talking with John Harbaugh. Don’t think anything is imminent, but Odell’s interest in a return to NY is obvious. As I wrote, don’t think the Giants’ interest can be considered serious until they have him in for a workout.”

The report suggests mutual curiosity but stops short of indicating that a deal is close. Beckham’s presence and conversation with Harbaugh fueled speculation, yet the Giants may wait to evaluate him physically before advancing discussions about a reunion.

Who will sign Odell Beckham Jr.?

At this stage, Odell Beckham’s landing spot remains uncertain, with interest appearing exploratory rather than concrete. The Giants may hold internal discussions, while other contenders could monitor his availability depending on roster needs.

Ultimately, his next team may come down to opportunity and role. A franchise willing to offer snaps as a WR3 and veteran presence in a young receiver room could emerge as the most logical destination.

OBJ was not on the free agency radar until he had a strong performance at the 2026 Fanatics Flag Football Classic. There, he showed he is ready for a potential return, and even Team USA considers him a real option for the 2028 Olympics.
