During said game vs. the Los Angeles Chargers, the G-Men’s best wide receiver, Malik Nabers, suffered a torn ACL. After that, wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. begged the NFL for a change at MetLife Stadium.

We (The NFL) take all the precautions in the world with EVERYthing else when it comes to players ‘health’ and ‘safety.’ PLZ. PLZ. PLZ. GET RID OF THE TURF.” He also added, “Respect and u kno I loveeeee the Giants, but DeathLife has taken too many talented players away from the game.”



<h2>Nabers’ injury is a huge blow to the Giants</h2>



Adam Schefter of ESPN reported that the MRI showed that Nabers indeed suffered a season-ending torn ACL against the <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/los-angeles-chargers" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Chargers</a>. Nabers is clearly the best player on the Giants offense. With rookie Jaxson Dart now at quarterback, it was clear for this team that the mission was to establish an automatic connection between the two of them. Now, they will have to wait until 2026.

Nabers now will undergo surgery and a long rehab to come back next year. The Giants will have to work with an understaffed receiving corp. Heading into the 2024 season, the Dolphins were widely considered solid contenders. However, a disappointing 1-4 record has left fans frustrated, as the team has struggled to meet expectations.

“I felt pretty good,” Beckham Jr. said, via Pro Football Network. “The old guy can still run. I felt good. I think I feel obviously a bit out of football shape, but just like everything else, it comes with repetition. So just being able to get out there and run around, I don’t think people understand how much of a joy that is to be able to not even stretch and I can go out there and just take off running. You know, it’s been a long journey with me and my career. So getting able to get out there has been great.”



<h2>Will Odell Beckham Jr. play against the Patriots in Week 5?</h2>



The return of Odell Beckham Jr. is a significant boost for the Miami Dolphins. While Tua Tagovailoa remains sidelined, the wide receiver could provide much-needed support to Tyler Huntley, especially after his poor showing in Week 4.

After three games this NFL season, the <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/miami-dolphins">Miami Dolphins</a> hold a disappointing 1-2 record. Not only is the team’s overall performance lacking during games, but they also lost their QB Tua Tagovailoa to another concussion. However, head coach Mike McDaniel may receive some good news with the potential early return of one of his star players.



Following the decisive loss to the Seattle Seahawks, and with a tough matchup against the struggling Tennessee Titans ahead in Week 4, Coach McDaniel received the news that one of his injured players could soon return to practice and be available if needed.

Beckham Jr. missed the training camp and preseason games due to an unspecified injury, but it’s widely recognized that he has a long history of injuries throughout his NFL career, including multiple ACL tears and recurring hamstring issues.

The 2023 <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/nfl">NFL</a> passing yards leader has signed a 4-year extension with the Dolphins which guarantees him over 160 million dollars. With that figured out, Tua and Miami are ready for a critical season for the organization. “Off the field, I’ve been able to hang out with him a good amount of times. Cool dude, 100 percent,” Tagovailoa stated during his press conference after practice. “But does that translate? Does our relationship translate on the field? I couldn’t tell you because I haven’t gotten reps with him. And that’s just the honest truth. I want to make sure I get as many reps with him [as I can].”

<h2>What OBJ are the Dolphins getting?</h2>



Odell Beckham Jr entered the league in 2014 after an elecric college career over at LSU. On his rookie year Odell took the centerstage after making a touchdown grab so good it is now referred to as “The Catch“. Ever since that moment, Beckham Jr became a superstar and headlined hundreds of football news. However, he was not always the hero on those articles.



His one of a kind personality has been a cause of discomfort in many of his past teams. For example, when playing for the Cleveland Browns Odell put together dozens of plays where he was open and his then QB Baker Mayfield wouldn’t throw his way. Due to his antics and unfortunate injuries, the wideout’s production has not been consistent throughout his 10-year career in the NFL.



Beckham Jr joins the Dolphins organization after a disappointing season with the Baltimore Ravens, while he was expected to become the team’s WR1 he barely surpassed the 500 yard mark in the season and caught just three TDs. Injuries are to blame, though. And the Dolphins hope they are getting ‘2021 OBJ’ (or at least an alike version) when he won the Super Bowl with the Los Angeles Rams.



Miami knows Beckham is past his prime, injuries have taken a toll on his athleticism and he will most probably not be available for a whole season, but they trust he can sporadically mix in and be a reliable outlet for this offense. McDaniel and Tua are willing to take that chance and hope the 31-year old wide receiver still has some juice left in the tank.
