Besides being one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history, Peyton Manning has made a name around show business for being a bit of a comedian, especially when it comes to roasting other players and teams.

Peyton and his brother Eli have been must-watch television through the first two weeks of the NFL season. They've been in charge of the Monday Night Football broadcast and, in all honesty, it's just top-notch content.

But, besides giving their expert insight on what's going on on the field and his hilarious remarks, Peyton's anecdotes are just priceless. That's unless you're Bill Belichick or a Patriots fan, for sure.

Peyton Manning Says The Patriots Bugged His Locker Room

During the Packers-Lions showdown, Peyton lauded how Green Bay ran the football during their opening drive. Apparently, that's what he and Eli thought they should do and discussed it throughout the year. So, the older Manning brother made the most of that chance to take another shot at the Patriots:

“I feel like the Packers were listening. Eli, you and I were having a conversation about how they (Packers) should come out and run the ball. I think our conversation was bugged. Kinda like the Patriots used to do back in the day," Manning said.

Peyton confessed that he was paranoid every time he had to play in Foxboro because he knew his locker room was bugged. He even reached out to his teammates to tell them not to discuss any plays:

“Every time I played against New England, I used to go talk to my receivers in the shower in the far corner, I’m like ‘don’t talk about a play next to my locker, because I know it’s bugged. I know it’s got a hot mic in there.’”

Knowing Bill Belichick and the Patriots' infamous SpyGate and DeflateGate scandals, this wouldn't be far-fetched at all. Then again, it could be just another case of the good old Manning trolling. What do you guys think?
