Ronald Koeman can’t seem to catch a break at Barcelona, following yet another morale crushing defeat to Real Madrid over the weekend the Dutch head coach has to prove himself once again or lose his job. It did not help matters that the coach was harassed by fans leaving the Nou Camp following the 2-1 loss.
Barcelona sits ninth in LaLiga, now having lost 2 and won 2 of their last 4 games and are 6 points back of the top spot. In the Champions League the Catalan team sits third in the group following 2 losses to open up their European campaign.
Given that scenario, Marca is reporting that following the defeat against Real Madrid an emergency meeting was held by the front office and Joan Laporta has once again issued a timetable for Ronald Koeman to keep his job.

Ronald Koeman now has until November 2nd to gain ground in LaLiga and have Barcelona in Champions League qualification spots for the next round of the competition. The board understood that losing to Real Madrid is a possibility but given the insertion of Sergio Agüero, and the rising form of players like Fati and Dest, the club still sees a chance to right the ship.
Koeman must come out aces in his games against Rayo, Alaves, and Dynamo Kiev to even think about lasting until June. Reports also have it that club legend Xavi Hernandez could step in if Koeman is fired soon.
