September 13th will feature one of the biggest fights in recent memory, with Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford battling it out with the undisputed super middleweight belt on the line.

After facing off during the event, the Mexican boxer was seen fired up and ready to go. “I’m turning it on right now,“ Alvarez said. When asked if he was going to go harder after the faceoff, Canelo said, “I don’t know, but it made me feel more excited.”

Arguably one of the best boxers of all time, Canelo has turned the switch for this bout. Facing a tough challenge like Crawford will always ignite something inside a fighter, but apparently, his motivation is even bigger now.

Canelo has fought the likes of Floyd Mayweather, Gennady Golovkin, Miguel Cotto and Dmitry Bivol, to mention a few. He is no stranger to big fights, but Crawford could be one of his biggest challenges yet.

The betting odds right now have Canelo as a favorite over Crawford. A $180 bet on Canelo would pay $100 if he wins. Meanwhile, a $100 bet on Crawford has a $145 payout. While slim, the odds favor the Mexican.

However, both The Ring and ESPN pound-for-pound rankings have Crawford above Canelo. While The Ring has Crawford at third, Canelo is 8th. On ESPN, Crawford sits second with Canelo behind at the fifth place.
