The New York Jets made a very interesting move when they signed Robert Saleh from the San Francisco 49ers a couple of weeks ago. Now the team is ready to put the right pieces for the head coach and their quarterback, Sam Darnold.

That’s why they’re holding onto the No. 2 overall pick in the upcoming NFL draft and will try to bolster their ranks in free agency. This team has plenty of things to figure out before the start of the next season and their plans look very ambitious.

Recent reports have suggested they are trying to add two good wide receivers to join Sam Darnold on the O-Line, demonstrating they’re ready to finally compete and take that next step in the AFC.

New York Jets linked with JuJu Smith Schuster and Will Fuller

According to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, the Jets have placed their attention on two big players, JuJu Smith Schuster and Will Fuller. The former has been the primary WR on the Pittsburgh Steelers while Fuller saw his role increased this season after the Houston Texans sent a lot of players away before the start of the season.

Fowler said the pair are “at the top” of the team’s wishlist this offseason. Both Smith Schuster and Fuller are expected to test the waters of free agency and the New Yorkers will be ready to land two electrifying wideouts.

They have high expectations for their quarterback and are reportedly sticking with the player despite being linked with other names around the league. If they pull off any of these moves and land another offensive player in the draft, the Jets could be up to something next campaign.
