Hollywood Brown will be a key piece for Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs in their quest to return to the Super Bowl. Last season, injuries at the wide receiver position were a crucial factor that prevented the team from reaching its full potential.
“A healthy season. It’s my number one goal. Just being able to really showcase what I can do. That’s all I’m looking to do. I wasn’t my best self, for sure (in 2024). I was coming back and really just trying to help whichever way I could. That was my mindset and that helped me carry me through the end of last year. So, I was just really grateful that I even had the opportunity to come back.”
Brown, Rashee Rice, Xavier Worthy, and JuJu Smith-Schuster will make up the depth chart heading into the 2025 season. It’s important to remember that, although his impact wasn’t extraordinary, Andy Reid and his offense will have to deal with the departure of DeAndre Hopkins.
Patrick Mahomes expects big things from Hollywood Brown
At the start of mandatory minicamp, Patrick Mahomes appeared motivated to finally have his key weapons healthy. As a result, the quarterback predicted big things for Hollywood Brown.
“Now with hopefully him having the full offseason and training camp and staying healthy and continuing to fight through, his role will expand even more. It’s kind of hard to throw guys in at the end of the season and try to give them a huge role. You all saw how special of a football player he is.”
