Aaron Rodgers is misunderstood. That’s how Breece Hall, his former teammate with the Jets, described him during an interview on the Get Got Pod with Marshawn Lynch. Despite all the criticism Rodgers receives for his personality, Hall has come to his defense.

“I love Aaron. Me and him still have a great relationship to this day. So, that’s my guy. He’s a very misunderstood person. A great dude. Comes off to people a certain way, but, once you really get to know him, you realize how good of a person he is. Last year, when you’re losing games, the blame gets put on the faces of the team. It just so happened to be guys like me, Sauce, Garrett, Aaron, Quinnen and Quincy.”

Rodgers lived through two very difficult seasons with the Jets and now seeks redemption before retirement with the Steelers. In fact, during his first days in Pittsburgh, Aaron’s attitude has also been praised by his new teammates. This means that much of the noise against the quarterback comes from outside.

Why did Aaron Rodgers leave the Jets?

Aaron Rodgers left the Jets because he was not part of head coach Aaron Glenn’s new project. After getting injured and missing the entire 2023 season, last year was disappointing with a 5-12 record.

However, Breece Hall said that Rodgers was unfairly judged because the responsibility lay more with the team’s front office due to the uncertainty they created by firing Robert Saleh early.

“When you’re losing, somebody has to get let go, but, what people don’t realize is when stuff is crazy organizationally, then it’s hard for players to have stability and win games. You can’t always blame the players because, when you’re stressed out, mentally, physically and emotionally, it’s hard to show up every Sunday.”
