The Dallas Mavericks are keen on enhancing their roster for the upcoming season, following a challenging year marked by Luka Doncic’s surprising move to the Los Angeles Lakers. With an eye on significant changes, the Mavericks are reportedly considering four options for new additions, one of which is veteran guard Chris Paul.

Having been one of the beneficiaries of the recent NBA Draft Lottery, the Mavericks are looking to build a formidable lineup centered around their anticipated first-round pick, Cooper Flagg. General Manager Nico Harrison and the rest of the front office are actively evaluating potential players to strengthen their squad.

According to insider Shams Charania, the Mavericks plan to utilize their mid-level exception (MLE) to acquire a key player for the next season. Paul is a primary target, along with other notable contenders including Dennis Schroder, D’Angelo Russell, and Malcolm Brogdon.
