Eagles’ Saquon Barkley’s brutal reveal about Cowboys, Commanders

The Philadelphia struck gold by bringing Saquon Barkley as they won the Super Bowl. However, the All-Pro running back said something shocking about NFC East rivals, Dallas Cowboys and Washington Commanders.

When you have a generational talent like Saquon Barkley, you must not let him go. However, when the New York Giants had that talent, they just handed him to the Philadelphia Eagles, and then Philly won the Super Bowl. However, when that big of a name becomes available, you would expect other divisional rivals like the Washington Commanders and Dallas Cowboys to at least inquire about him.

Barkley told Janky Rondo that he “never heard a word from the Commanders or Dallas. Apparently, Saquon took that personally, as he also stated,That’s why it’s BTA when I see them.”

The worst thing about this is that both teams were shopping for a running back. The Commanders signed Austin Ekeler to pair him up with Brian Robinson Jr. The Dallas Cowboys decided to trust Rico Dowdle and now he is gone, so they now went to get Javonte Williams and Miles Sanders. Of course, none of the names in this paragraph are even close to Saquon’s level.

Dak Prescott should be really mad about this

The Commanders went all the way to the NFC Championship Game and their RB-duo got 1,691 scrimmage yards and 12 touchdowns. So, they have a bit of slack. However, Dallas‘ indifference towards possibly getting Saquon is baffling. Rico Dowdle led the team in scrimmage yards with 1,328 yards and also had 5 touchdowns. However, if you were going to let him go just a year after that, why not go for Saquon?

After all, Barkley led the NFL in rushing attempts (325), rushing yards (2,005), scrimmage touches (378) and scrimmage yards (2,283). He also scored 15 touchdowns. Barkley alone pretty much outplayed the others mentioned above.

The Eagles will not let Barkley go anytime soon

Barkley has a contract all the way through 2028. The Eagles wasted no time to sign him to a 2-year, $41.2 million contract extension. They know that as long as Barkley is healthy, he will guide the offense to compete for more Super Bowls.

Philly also has a great offensive line to open up holes for him. The Eagles did what the Commanders and Cowboys should’ve done. The result: a Super Bowl ring. The lesson here is really obvious, if you can grab a generational talent, just do it.
