Mike Tomlin and the Pittsburgh Steelers continue with their OTAs while they wait for Aaron Rodgers. In a move that has surprised fans and experts, the team continues to show complete patience with the veteran quarterback.

At the moment, Tomlin and offensive coordinator Arthur Smith seem comfortable with Mason Rudolph as QB1, but if Rodgers accepts, they are confident it would be a massive boost to become Super Bowl contenders.

Meanwhile, general manager Omar Khan continues to make key decisions in building the team. For example, just a few weeks ago, the trade to send wide receiver George Pickens to the Cowboys.

Who did Steelers release?

The Pittsburgh Steelers confirmed the release of defensive end Blake Mangelson, who joined the team as an undrafted free agent after his college football career at BYU.

During his time with the Cougars, Mangelson played in 41 games, starting 16 of them and recording 82 tackles. However, after his participation in rookie minicamp and OTAs, Tomlin and his staff decided not to keep him on the roster.
