Mike Tomlin and the Pittsburgh Steelers have confirmed their first roster loss after the first few days of training camp in Latrobe. Through an official statement, the team announced that they have waived defensive tackle Domenique Davis.

Davis signed with the Jets as an undrafted free agent in 2020 and had two stints with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2022 and 2024. In fact, he also tried his luck in the USFL with the Houston Gamblers.

The Steelers have been very active in free agency with the arrival of names like Aaron Rodgers, DK Metcalf, Darius Slay, and Jalen Ramsey. The interesting part will be seeing what other moves they make to add depth to their roster before the start of the 2025 season.

Who just signed with Steelers?

The Steelers have confirmed that they signed safety Chuck Clark in a logical move following Minkah Fitzpatrick’s departure to the Miami Dolphins. Although Jalen Ramsey will be used in that position in certain packages, Clark gives Mike Tomlin more options.

Chuck Clark is entering his ninth NFL season, bringing experience and grit to the Steelers’ defense. A former sixth-round pick by the Ravens, Chuck made his mark in Baltimore over six seasons before spending the last two with the New York Jets.
