Mike Tomlin and the Pittsburgh Steelers are not currently on Jalen Ramsey’s radar. According to a recent report by Adam Schefter, the star cornerback is narrowing down his options before making a final decision.
“The Dolphins continue to have conversations about trading Jalen Ramsey. I think that a trade there will get done. The question is when does it get done. Jalen Ramsey will get traded. I would expect it to happen before the start of training camp. I think he would like to go to the West Coast, to Los Angeles. Rams, Chargers, somewhere like that.”
In recent hours, following the arrival of Aaron Rodgers, Ramsey began to emerge as the next potential big splash for general manager Omar Khan. However, that possibility now seems very unlikely.
Is Jalen Ramsey getting traded?
Yes. Jalen Ramsey will be traded by the Miami Dolphins, but they have yet to find an appropriate compensation package to let him go. Even head coach Sean McVay admitted that the Rams are interested, although there are obstacles that have prevented the deal from happening.
As for the Steelers as a possible next destination, Gerry Dulac echoed Adam Schefter’s report, confirming that there is no chance Ramsey will sign with Pittsburgh.
