The Pittsburgh Steelers are making it clear. With possible bold moves and a renewed sense of purpose, the team is ready to finally fight for the Super Bowl.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are in a concerning limbo that they haven’t been able to get out of in recent years. The positive side is that they continue to have non-losing seasons, but the big problem is that they haven’t won the Super Bowl in 16 years.

Therefore, general manager Omar Khan and head coach Mike Tomlin must decide as soon as possible where the franchise is headed. The defense, led by TJ Watt and Cam Heyward, was supposed to be the team’s strength, but it ended up allowing almost 300 yards on the ground in the playoffs against the Ravens.

In addition, the uncertainty is total at the quarterback position. Russell Wilson and Justin Fields will become free agents, while several rumors suggest that the arrival of Aaron Rodgers or another veteran like Sam Darnold cannot be ruled out.

Can the Steelers win the Super Bowl?

Despite a situation where many pieces are still missing to consider Pittsburgh a championship contender, general manager Omar Khan surprised fans and experts by saying that the Steelers are very close to winning the Super Bowl soon.

“I think we have some very talented people on the roster. I think that if we add some more talented people, I think we have a chance. I really do. Obviously, you’re 10-3, you’re naturally gonna feel good. I mean, you guys all did, the fan base did, and, you know, it felt good. We made a couple trades down there, and those trades were made with the intent of helping us down the stretch. We’re extremely disappointed, obviously.”
