Inter Milan were able to end their Serie A drought and win their first league title since 2009/2010. Two of their players were among the leading scorers of the competition and one of their forwards was the league leader in assists during the season.

Despite the Serie A title, Inter Milan are in financial difficulties and are willing to listen to offers for some of their top players. 90 minutes are reporting that Chelsea, Manchester City, and Liverpool have put their focus on one of Inter Milan’s top strikers.

Lautaro Martínez is the striker in question, as he is coming off of a fantastic season where he scored 16 league goals for Inter on their way to the title. In total, Martinez has played 98 games and scored 36 goals. Here are his chances of signing with Chelsea, Manchester City, and Liverpool.

Chelsea

Chelsea is stacked! The likelihood that Chelsea would sign Martinez for the $85 million in transfer looks slim. Still, Chelsea is known for spending and if available at a cheaper price the London club might pull the trigger.

Manchester City

The newly crowned Premier League champions would be a nice fit for Martinez. With Sergio Aguero leaving the club, City will be looking for a top striker and Martinez fits the mold and for City won’t be as expensive as some of their other targets.

Liverpool

The Reds could be the right club for Martinez, who most certainly would be starting from the start. Liverpool would benefit from having another quality striker up top to complement Mohamed Salah.
