The Rugby Championship 2021 will bring the ultimate rugby competition of the Southern Hemisphere with its four teams again. Last year, South Africa withdrew from the tournament citing they didn't feel prepared amid the pandemic.

This time, however, the world champions will be back and we'll be in for a treat. The Springboks won the last Rugby Championship in 2019, while New Zealand were crowned in last year's Tri-Nations.

Argentina have accomplished an amazing feat in 2020 beating the All Blacks for the first time after being off the field for several months. Australia, meanwhile, will be seeking redemption this year. Here, check out the Rugby Championship 2021 schedule, format, and how to watch in USA to never miss any of its action.

The Rugby Championship 2021 Format

The Rugby Championship is an annual tournament that has begun in 2012 with the addition of Los Pumas, as it was previously named Tri-Nations and the All Blacks, Springboks, and Wallabies took part in it.

The competition is contested in a round-robin system and the team that finishes atop the standings after five rounds claims the title. For the second straight year, Argentina won't be playing at home - in 2020 the whole tournament was held in Australia.
