<h2>Swinney gives credit to Louisville’s gameplan</h2>



The Louisville Cardinals posed a significant threat to the Tigers’ undefeated conference record, though they may have been overlooked. The Cardinals had put the Miami Hurricanes against the ropes a couple weeks ago and they showed they could be a headache for any team with <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/college-football">College Football</a> Playoffs aspirations. The school from Kentucky put on a dominant gameplan and earned Swinney’s recognition.



“I give all the credit to Louisville and Coach Brohm and his staff,” Swinney admitted. “They flat out got it done. And this is not an easy place to win. We got the best winning percentage at home, I think, in college football coming into tonight, and they walked in here and they freaking kicked our tails all over the field. So all you can do is own that and go back to work.“

On the offensive side, Swinney praised his own quarterback, noting that he’s playing at a high level and making smart decisions. “Our quarterback is really at a high level from a decision-making standpoint. He’s playing with a lot of confidence, and we just want to continue nurturing that.”

However, Swinney had some unfortunate news, revealing that one of the team’s star wide receivers will miss the upcoming games against <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/stanford">Stanford</a> and Florida State.



During the post-game press conference following the NC State win, Swinney spoke about the players’ strong performances before dropping the bombshell regarding junior wide receiver Adam Randall’s injury.



“What you don’t know about Adam Randall is he broke his foot last Monday. He’s got a little stress fracture in his toe, but he really wanted to play this game [against NC State]. We’ve known since last Monday that we’re going to put a screw in his toe, so he’ll be out for at least a couple of ball games,” Swinney revealed.



Swinney added that Randall typically recovers quickly, but they’ll have to wait and see how he progresses over the next few weeks. The head coach is hopeful Randall will be ready to play by Week 7, when Clemson faces Virginia at home.

The <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/clemson-tigers">Clemson Tigers</a> secured a dominant 59-35 victory over NC State in Week 4, marking their first win against an ACC rival in the 2024 NCAAF season. Head coach Dabo Swinney, now sitting at 2-1, looks ahead to another key matchup against Stanford, but confidently stated it won’t be a challenge for his team.



Following the home win, <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/dabo-swinney">Dabo Swinney</a> praised his players’ performances but made it clear that the Week 5 game against Stanford is “just another conference game” and “not a challenge at all.”



“No, no, not at all. I mean, because it’s a conference game, no challenge at all. Especially when you turn on the tape of their game at Syracuse last night… I’ve been there on a Friday night; that’s a hard place to win. I know what that’s like, and that was a huge win [Stanford 26-24 Syracuse],” Swinney said.



Swinney also mentioned <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/stanford">Stanford</a>’s wide receiver and quarterback, acknowledging their strong offensive play. He added that he would review more tape the following day but was excited for the upcoming primetime game at Death Valley.

Clemson’s season started with a tough 34-3 loss to Georgia, leading many to think their struggles might continue. However, the Tigers bounced back in Week 3 with a 66-20 win over Appalachian State, followed by their recent victory against NC State.



Looking ahead, Clemson faces Stanford in Week 5, then hits the road to play Florida State and Wake Forest. They’ll return to Memorial Stadium on October 19 to face Virginia.
