Things are starting to shape up in Concacaf World Cup qualifying as Mexico is the only team to get six points from the first two games.  The USMNT have largely disappointed with two points from their first two games, and Jamaica have shockingly lost both games.

While the panic button should not be pressed for any of the eight teams, some teams need to win urgently to start solidifying their position in the standings. Matchday 3 presents a slate of games for many of the eight squads to finish this first batch of qualifying games strong.

The oddsmakers at DraftKings have put out their odds and we preview the best picks for matchday 3 of Concacaf World Cup qualifying. Take a look and take note of who we think has the best chance in these tough games.

Canada - El Salvador

If Canada (-350) wants to prove their no “darlings” and are the real deal this game against El Salvador (+800) will be key for them at home. Canada showed the dangerous team they could be against the USMNT, earning a point, now they have the obligation to win at home. El Salvador drew Honduras at home and will look for a draw (+425) in this match. Canada should finally get three points in this one.

Panama vs Mexico

While Panama (+400) will be the underdog they did take care of business on the road against Jamaica. Mexico (-150) have won both games but not looking like El Tri we all know. A draw (+250) is not out of the question as Panama has scored the most goals so far in qualifying, Tata Martino will be satisfied with a point.

Costa Rica - Jamaica

This one is hard to pinpoint but Costa Rica (-130) who have not looked good at all will take on a Jamaica (+330) side who will be disappointed with their current standing. On the road and with much to prove the Reggae Boyz will leave it all out there and earn three points against Costa Rica. It’s time for Jamaica to show their talent.

Honduras - USMNT

After two draws and little answers the USMNT (-195) travel to Honduras (+500)  for a match that could leave the soccer media in the United States in a state of panic. Honduras have not been that inspiring but are a very organized and tough team. Look for the USMNT to play it safe and earn a point (+ 285) to keep them winless but with three draws they will be able to go back to the drawing board.
