Mike Tyson, at 58 years old, continues to feel the impact of his historic fight with Jake Paul in November 2024. In a candid interview, Tyson revealed how the fight affected him physically and emotionally.

Despite making history with his return to the ring against the 28-year-old YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul, Tyson admitted that the aftermath of the bout has left its mark. Speaking at the 2025 Pegasus World Cup, Tyson told The NY Post, “I feel pretty good.”

Despite initially stating that he was feeling fine, Tyson made a tough admission about his condition after the fight against Paul: “I don’t know if I’m 100 percent recovered, but I feel good.”

Will Tyson Return to the Ring?

Tyson’s passion for boxing is clear, even though his body has struggled to keep up. After the fight with Paul, Tyson took to X (formerly Twitter), sharing his thoughts on the outcome: “This is one of those situations when you lost but still won. I’m grateful for last night. No regrets to get in the ring one last time. I almost died in June. Had 8 blood transfusions. Lost half my blood and 25lbs in hospital and had to fight to get healthy to fight so I won.”
