Damian Lillard isn’t the kind of guy that easily forgets when he’s been disrespected. That’s why every time he faces off vs. Russell Westbrook and Paul George, he just brings his A-Game and tries to outplay them on and off the court, especially with PG.

George has become Lillard’s number one enemy ever since Dame sent the Oklahoma City Thunder home with a huge three-pointer in the playoffs and George deemed it a ‘bad shot’. Unsurprisingly, that only got worst during the NBA bubble in Orlando.

Paul George and some Los Angeles Clippers players mocked Lillard for botching a couple of clutch free throws in a regular-season game and joked about him going home early. Obviously, that didn’t sit well with Dame D.O.L.L.A, who fired back at him and said that he ‘ran from the grind’ by switching teams to win a ring.

Damian Lillard Calls Cap On Paul George’s Desire To Stay With The Clippers

That’s why the Portland Trail Blazers star didn’t hesitate to call ‘Cap’on an Instagram post where Paul George claimed that he intended to finish his career as a member of the Los Angeles Clippers, simply typing ‘Al Capone’.

It’s also worth noting that Lillard’s sister and George’s significant other also traded jabs on social media during the players’ feud in Orlando, and it’s now clear that it’s not water under the bridge as they claimed.

Paul George’s reputation around the league took a massive dip this season after he talked a lot of trash and underperformed in the playoffs. As for Lillard, he established himself as one of the league’s deadliest scorers and a fan favorite.

It’ll be interesting to see who gets the last laugh when the Blazers and Clippers face off next season, especially if they meet in the playoffs. We’re sure that this won’t be the last time we hear about this beef between All-Stars.
