It seems like there's not a day that goes by in the NBA without hearing the debate about who's the greatest of all time, LeBron James or Michael Jordan. This time, it was the 2021 first-overall pick Cade Cunningham who has shared his thoughts on who the GOAT is.

The Detroit Pistons promising young talent is entering his first season at the elite level with plenty of expectations after proving his worth at Oklahoma State University.

Cunningham is believed to be one of the league's most exciting prospects and all the eyes will be on him when Detroit head into the new season. Far from being shy, he has already shown his personality by weighing in on a famous, never-ending debate.

Pistons No. 1 pick Cade Cunningham explains why he chooses LeBron over MJ

Arguably the greatest players to ever do it, MJ and LeBron had always been subject of endless comparisons about who's the best of all time, and not even the Detroit Pistons rookie has been able to avoid that question.

Talking in Da Windy City with Mark Carman podcast, Cade Cunningham has chosen the Los Angeles Lakers star over Jordan: It’s hard for me to put somebody ahead of LeBron cause LeBron is the best player I’ve seen with my eyes.

“Trust me I’ve seen all the Michael Jordan stuff, dude is different. I can’t argue with the fact that you think he is the GOAT but in my eyes I say LeBron,” Cunningham said, as quoted by Lakers Daily.

Several big names in the sport like Dwayne Wade, Charles Barkley, Scottie Pippen, and Hakeem Olajuwon have already given their opinion on this never-ending debate. Now it was the turn for the NBA's young promise, who seems to be Team LeBron.
