Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys have big hopes for the 2025 season. After three decades without winning a championship, there are no more excuses for Jerry Jones’ team.

Since last year, the controversial owner has shown with historic contracts for Prescott and CeeDee Lamb that he’s in full win-now mode. Plus, a few weeks ago, Jones pulled off a trade with the Pittsburgh Steelers for George Pickens. Now, all that’s left is to settle things with Micah Parsons.

The big question is whether the Cowboys can be a Super Bowl contender with Brian Schottenheimer, who will have his first shot as an NFL head coach. All of this takes place in a very tough division like the NFC East.

Who got injured with Cowboys?

Joe Milton suffered an elbow injury during the Dallas Cowboys’ loss to the Los Angeles Rams in the first game of preseason. Despite this, Dak Prescott’s backup quarterback said there’s nothing to worry about.

“I feel good. Just get a little treatment in the morning and I’ll be all right. I think one of their players hit my elbow. It was probably one of my funny bone moments. I don’t know to be honest, but I’ll be good. I was in my throwing motion.”

Head coach Brian Schottenheimer also assured that Milton is fine. “He got hit on the elbow. It seems like the initial tests show he’ll be ok. Just a bit of a bruise. We’ll run some more tests, but, I think Joe’s gonna be all right.”
